Kenny Chan

Times Property

Kenny Chan is chief financial officer of Hong Kong-listed Times Property, a two-time issuer of US dollar high-yield bonds. Times priced its first offshore bond in March 2014, and tapped the 12.625% notes the following month to take the issue size to US$305m, and returned to the offshore market in March 2015 with a US$280m 11.45% deal.

Bryan Collins

Fidelity Worldwide Investment

Bryan Collins is a portfolio manager with over 14 years of investment experience. He joined Fidelity Worldwide Investment’s Hong Kong office in 2006, and became a portfolio manager in 2009. He manages Fidelity’s fixed-income funds in Asia and is responsible for US$4.7bn of client assets.

Luke Garner

JP Morgan

Luke Garner is co-head of high-yield capital markets for Asia. Since joining JPMorgan in New York in 2001, he has held various positions in syndicated and leveraged finance before moving to Asia in 2006. His experience covers a variety of debt products including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, mezzanine and bridge financing.

Haitham Ghattas

Deutsche Bank

Haitham Ghattas is head of high-yield capital markets for Asia, based in Singapore. He has 15 years of experience in leveraged finance and high-yield at Deutsche Bank, covering Asia, Japan and Europe. Before taking up his current post, he was head of high-yield origination for Asia in Hong Kong since 2008.

Alex Lloyd

Sidley Austin

Alex Lloyd is a partner focusing on high-yield debt capital markets, representing both issuers and underwriting banks. He moved to Hong Kong in 2005 with Clifford Chance and has advised on high-yield offerings throughout Asia, including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, Hong Kong and China.

Michel Löwy

SC Lowy

Michel Löwy is CEO and co-founder of SC Lowy, a boutique investment bank focused on fixed income. He founded SC Lowy in 2009 to trade and make markets in distressed Asian loans, and has since expanded into high-yield bonds both in Asia and Europe. Löwy led Deutsche Bank’s strategic investment group during the fallout from the Asian financial crisis.

Jim Veneau

AXA Investment Managers

Jim Veneau is head of fixed income Asia. He runs a team of five active investment managers and is responsible for the performance and risk management of all Asian fixed-income portfolios.

He spent four years at HSBC Asset Management before joining AXA IM in December 2013, and has lived in Hong Kong since 2009.

Ying Wang

Fitch Ratings

Ying Wang is a senior director in Fitch Ratings’ Asia-Pacific corporate finance division, based in Shanghai. She is also head of China corporate research and analytical support, supervising a team of research analysts and associate analysts. Before rejoining Fitch in 2013, she was senior manager of credit research at Sino-US MetLife Insurance.
