RICHARD DAWSON

KPMG

Richard Dawson is the head of KPMG’s capital advisory group in Asia. The group provides strategic funding advice and transaction support to governments, financial institutions, funds and corporate clients and has teams based in each of the world’s financial centers. Prior to joining KPMG in 2011, Richard worked for 16 years at RBS and ABN AMRO, most recently as head of corporate and structured debt capital markets in Asia Pacific at RBS following three years as ABN’s global head of syndicated loans.

BARRY FUNG

BNP Paribas

Barry Fung is managing director and head of debt capital markets for Greater China at BNP Paribas, a position he has held since 2011. He joined BNP Paribas in 2007, specialising in leveraged and acquisition financing.

BNP Paribas has been involved in several capital markets financings for Chinese municipalities, including debut offshore issues from Qingdao City Construction and Anhui Transportation.

FERNANDO MAYORGA

Fitch Ratings

Fernando Mayorga is global head of the international public finance group at Fitch Ratings, based in Barcelona, Spain. His team rates local and regional governments as well as public sector entities outside of the US, including social housing, public transportation, universities, and health care providers.

He joined Fitch in 1993 from Banco Exterior de España in London, where he was responsible for the credit analysis of the bank’s UK and Latin American corporate exposure.

DAVID YIM

Standard Chartered Bank

David Yim is managing director and head of debt capital markets for Greater China, based in Hong Kong. Before joining Standard Chartered, he led the debt capital markets team for North Asia at Royal Bank of Scotland and has over 20 years’ experience in bonds and syndicated loans. He has a MBA degree from Imperial College, London and is a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst.

BEN YUEN

BOCHK Asset Management

Ben Yuen is managing director and head of fixed income, responsible for fixed-income investment capabilities and business development. He joined BOCHK in 2014 after seven years at UBS Global Asset Management, where he was in charge of portfolio management and business development for Asian fixed-income products. Yuen was earlier head of Asian fixed income at First State Investments, and served as a senior investment manager at HSBC Global Asset Management.
