Tom Byrne
Moody’s Investors Service
Tom Byrne is senior vice president and manager of the sovereign risk group for Asia Pacific and Middle East. Before joining Moody’s in 1996, he was the senior economist in the Asia Pacific department of the Institute of International Finance. Byrne has an MA degree in international relations with an emphasis on economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
Alexi Chan
HSBC
Alexi Chan is managing director and head of debt capital markets for Asia Pacific. He is based in Hong Kong, and previously worked in Singapore and London. Before joining HSBC in 2000, he worked as an economic adviser in HM Treasury, the UK’s economics and finance ministry. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford, and completed his masters degree at the London School of Economics.
Thierry De Longuemar
Asian Development Bank
Thierry de Longuemar is the ADB’s vice president in charge of finance and risk management. He served twice as ADB Treasurer before being named VP in November 2011. De Longuemar has also held senior positions at the African Development Bank since 1996, and earlier worked for ABN Amro and for several French banks. He has a Master in Business Administration from ESSEC in Paris.
Yoshihiro Inoue
Daiwa Securities
Yoshihiro Inoue is head of debt capital markets for Asia Pacific (ex-Japan). He joined Daiwa in 2000 and moved to Daiwa Singapore in 2007 as head of debt capital markets. In 2008, Inoue was appointed head of investment banking, Singapore. He relocated to Hong Kong in 2011 to spearhead the expansion of the firm’s DCM business, centred on Hong Kong as the regional hub.
Dr Reza Yamora Siregar
AMRO Asia
Reza Siregar is group head and lead economist at the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office, known as AMRO. He was previously director of the research and learning content department of the South East Asian Central Banks Research and Training Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and worked at the International Monetary Fund from 2005 to 2009. Early on his career, he was an economist at the ADB during the 1997 East Asian Financial crisis. He has a PhD in economics from Brown University, US.
